Workshops for Small Groups and Teams

Memphis may be Grind City, but your legacy does not have to be exhaustion. Let’s learn as individuals and teams how to change our narratives. These workshops are different – No stale platitudes. No toxic positivity. Just practical stress management tools you can use right away.

What You Learn

Every workshop focuses on skills, not theory. Attendees leave with specific techniques they can apply immediately, not abstract concepts they will forget by Friday.

Practical Tools That Fit Real Constraints

The tools I teach work within the constraints you truly face. Specific. Realistic. Usable in the margins of a packed day.

A Shared Language for Stress

When a team learns together, they build a common vocabulary. That makes it easier to support each other, recognize warning signs, and ask for help before burnout takes hold.

“I met Alex walking in Overton Park one day, and I absolutely loved her calm presence. She was a clear, thoughtful safe space to land. She shared that she was starting a mindfulness and stress reduction coaching service and I signed on immediately! I had been needing to tease out what worked best for me, and what was not working for me, to better deal with the daily rhythms of life in this productivity-reward culture (even in my 50’s I am still searching and refining). Within a few sessions we zeroed in on more focused movement as a way to clear some nervous system static, as well as some good writing and verbal practices to chill brain chatter. We finished a few months ago, and I am still using the personally curated techniques!”

Bring a Workshop to Your Team

If your staff is running on empty, a workshop can be the reset they need. Not a lecture. Not another thing on their to-do list. A practical session that gives them tools they will actually use.

Frequently Asked Questions

How far in advance should we book personalized workshops?

Personalized workshops include direct scheduling, consultation, and content customization. For virtual workshops, one month’s lead time is usually sufficient. On-site engagements typically require four to six weeks. Weekday options are currently limited. Saturdays are typically the easiest to book. I will accommodate to your schedule as much as possible.

Yes. Every on-site workshop includes a planning call to understand your team’s specific challenges. I adjust examples, exercises, and emphasis based on your industry, team size, and the issues you are seeing.

Virtual workshops work best with 10 to 15 attendees. On-site sessions can accommodate up to 30. Larger groups are possible with adjusted format and pricing.

Yes. I have particular experience with educator burnout and design content specifically for the constraints teachers and school staff face. I can work with individual schools, district professional development coordinators, or regional education organizations.
Yes. I understand the unique pressures nonprofit staff face, including compassion fatigue, under-resourcing, and the weight of mission-driven work. Workshop content addresses these dynamics directly.
Virtual workshops are available nationwide. For on-site engagements outside the Memphis area, travel costs are added to the base workshop fee.
