You care about the people around you. You enjoy your hobbies. You are good at your job. You are also exhausted. The to-do list never ends, and those boundaries you set keep getting crossed. You wake up tired, push through the day, and do it all again the next day. Somewhere along the way, “busy” became your baseline and exhaustion became normal. There is another way forward, and we can find that together.
Stress management coaching gives you a place to stop, take stock, and build a plan that actually fits your life. Not a list of tips you already know. Not advice to “practice self-care” without telling you how. Real tools. Concrete strategies. A structured process for making changes that last.
Coaching is a conversation with a purpose. We meet for an hour, either virtually or in person (Memphis area) to focus on what is in front of you right now and what you want to do about it. In our first session, we begin to identify your imbalance and stressors. Not in the abstract. The specific situations, patterns, and demands that wear you down. From there, we build a plan that fits your needs.
You will leave every session with something concrete to try before we meet again. A boundary to set. A habit to shift. A decision to make. We track what works, adjust what does not, and keep moving forward. Most clients start seeing real shifts in about six to ten sessions. That is when the new patterns begin to feel less like effort and more like how you operate.
Stress management coaching is for anyone who is tired of perpetually operating in survival mode. Burnout hits high achievers. It hits caregivers. It hits people who are excellent at taking care of everyone except themselves. I work with professionals who are overwhelmed and know something has to change. That includes women juggling careers with caregiving, educators exhausted by systems that demand more than they give back, LGBTQ+ professionals navigating spaces that demand they contort themselves to fit in, and all those who are ready to cultivate a calmer life.
You do not have to explain yourself here. You do not have to prove your stress is “bad enough” to deserve support. If you are seeking better ways to care for yourself, that is enough of a reason to be here.
Coaching is for those who are not in crisis but are struggling to find balance. We focus on where you want to go and how to get there. Therapy addresses clinical concerns, past experiences through a medical lens, and mental health diagnoses. That is valuable work, and I deeply respect the difference. If we determine that what you need is clinical support, we will discuss ways to navigate that.
All individual sessions are about one hour. Virtual sessions are delivered through Google Meet. In-person sessions are available for clients in the Memphis area.
A conversation to see if coaching is the right fit. No pressure. No pitch. Just a chance to talk through what you are dealing with and whether working together makes sense.
A single session focused on clarity and practical next steps. Perfect if you’re exploring coaching or prefer a flexible, session by session approach. All sessions include tailored resources to support your growth.
Enough time to address deeper patterns and build sustainable change. Research shows that coaching clients often experience notable change in about six to ten sessions. Includes email support between sessions.
